Humberto Aldrete Art

Born in Guadalajara, Mexico. As a young apprentice, studied human anatomy and drawing with Jose Fors and Davis Birks. In 1994 moved to California to pursue a career in architecture which led to my investigation and perpetual passion for art.

"STITCHIN' NATURE " 

is the most significant project in my repertoire.

 It consists of digital collage showcasing nature's textures and colors and where human banality is not present.

My practice is based on "The Accident." 

For the most part, it is an exercise of rigorously manipulating chance. 

A spontaneous "derive' " of the most ephemeral side of humanity where the subconscious takes over in a visceral manner to unveil that sense of emergence when something new occurs.
